Vansda and Kaprada, tribal hamlets tucked away in remote areas of South Gujarat, housing families who once a upon a time, were steeped in poverty, misery, hunger and a bleak future. Most of the tribals used to migrate in search of a living. 25,000 tribal families are now leading a life of dignity, happiness and contentment. Supported by KFW – a German development Bank the project Wadi has been monitored by NABARD while the implementation is done by BAIF Development Research Foundation – a voluntary organisation with track record in the field.
