Krishan Kant: Citizen Services Delivery

Suwidha is Punjab’s rural facing citizen services delivery project that covers all the 18 districts of the state on a self sustaining basis. Suwidha centres in rural Punjab are providing a single window for 24 services. These include all kinds of licenses, certificates, passports, approvals, pension cases and ration cards and so on. Most of these services that used to take days earlier are now available in a matter of hours. As per our study, Suwidha enjoys an 89% citizen approval rating.
