Raghu Raman: Security

Secretary & CEO, NATGRID

An authority on national security, information risk and counterintelligence, Capt Raghu Raman, is country’s best-known name when it comes to corporate security and risk mitigation. Capt Raman has played a pioneering role in advising and helping over 100 organisations de-risk their business and enhance competitive advantage while strengthening security management and change management. The need for de-risking corporate businesses was more pronounced post 26/11 terror attacks. He has been instrumental in instilling a sense of security amongst these corporates in an extremely volatile environment. Capt Raman has now been deputed as Secretary & CEO of the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID) project. A former soldier, with a 10-year stint in the Indian Army, Capt Raman is one of the few private sector professionals who have been inducted in the national security establishment.
